Diyas

Ingredients:



Plywood


-
12" x 12" or even 10" x 10"
Paint


-
gold or silver
Fabric paint






Kundan stone






Fabric glue






Method:
Take a plywood measuring 12" x 12" or even 10" x 10". Paint it with gold or silver powder mixed with meduim make a solution and paint the plywood.Let it dry. Take mud lamps and paint them too with fabric paint. Decorate the plywood with Kundan stones and stick the lamps with fabric glue.

Pot Painting-Method 12

Ingredients:
Earthen Pot 1
Thick Cotton cord White(Nada used for petticoats and salwars)
Fabric Glue
Fabric Paints
Tiny Bells or Flowers made of clay or m seal

Method:

Color the Nada patch by patch with various co lures of Fabric paint. Let it dry .Now apply fabric glue to the pot and stick the Nada around the pot put the bottom. Let it dry
Then stick either flowers or tie tiny bells around the pot. Paint the inside of the pot with any fabric color.
U can gift it or use it to keep on dressing table or even as a showpiece.

Instead of using big pot one can use even small kulfi pots.

Pot Painting-Method 11

Decorative Pot

Ingredients:
   
Pot shaped glass jar
- 1
Marbles - Round shape (blue & green colors)
Fevicol or mseal
   
Aluminum foil    

Method:
Take a pot shaped glass jar ...take marbles of 2 colors blue & green ...paste marbles on glass jar with fevicol or mseal...in grapes design ...cover the inside glass jar with aluminum foil ...depending on glass jar... marbles can be designed...jar can be used to store painting brushes...pencils pens...rolling sheets etc., depending on glass jar.

Pot Painting-Method 10

Materials required :
Dolomite Powder
Wood Glue
Paints

Method:
Mix equal amount of dolomite powder and wood glue and make a smooth dough. Then make different shapes out of it and stick it on the pot using wood glue and when dry, Paint the shape using any paints.
For indoor pots only as water can spoil can spoil the shape.

Ingredients :

Method :
Take a pot and then give any texture with plaster of paris then let it dry then make a design (flower,leafsetc)with the clay and then let it dry ,after drying then colour the base and flowers,and then after colouring whole pot we will put varnish on it to give shining .

Bread Flowers



Materials :
Bread Slices     -     8
Fevicol

Fabric Colours           
Green Tape
 Broomsticks           




Method :

   1.      We can use leftover bread slices for this flower making.
   2.      Remove the sides of breads and grind it in a mixer finely.
   3.      Take few drops of fevicol add fabric colors add bread powder and mix well and prepare a smooth dough.




   4.      Roll it with chapathi making roller and make a small bud and fix in the broomstick and make thin petals and fix on the bud same way keep it on one another and give a rose shape and use artifical leaves
   5.      Roll the stick with green tape and after dry give a varnish coat and keep in flower vase
      .


Ceramic Painting


Materials Need :            
Plywood     -     9"by 12"
Chalk powder          
Fevicol          
Acrilic colour          
Brush          
Design          



Method:

First take chalk powder and mix it with fevicol and water in semi liquid form. Then paint the ply wood with white acrilic colour.Trace the design with the help of yellow carbon.Take brush and fill the design with chalk powder liquid which we already made according to the shape of the design. Allow it to dry for 2 hours. Then paint the design by acrilic colours in different shades. Finally paint the backround with any darken shades.Then frame the work.

Pot Painting-Method 8




Materials Required :
›     Empty box
›     Plaster of paris
›     Clay
›     Fabric Paint
›     Varnish



Method :

    ›     We will take any waste box like i have take a empty box of drink.

    ›     Then we have to wrape this pot(box) with the help of plaster of paris and we wil give any texture with our fingures.

    ›     Then after drying it we will make some flowers with clay and paste it on the pot.

    ›     Then let it dry.

    ›     After drying it we will colour the base with different colour and the design(flowers)will be of different colour(fabric colours).

    ›     Then after drying these colours we will use varnish for shining the pot.

    ›     Then the pot is ready.

M-Seal Boquet

Things Required :
    1. M-seal
    2. Glue
    3. Fabric Colours
    4. Thin Wires
    5. Green Tape
    6. Glossy spray
         7. Scissors



Method:

For Flowers:

Mix well thoroughly so that both the white part and black part of the m-seal become one grey colour.Take a small portion from this mixture and roll it. Then take a thin wire and bend it into half. Roll the mixture around wire so that the top portion of the wire is fully covered. Again, take a smallm portion from the mixture and roll it and make it like a flat rounded shape. Roll this around the wire and make it like a petal by pulling the upper edges of it. Apply glue at the lower edges to stick it thoroughly. Let it dry for a day.

Take the green take and cover the bottom of the flower
till the end of the wire so that it looks like a stem of a flower.Take fabric colours of your wish and paint it according to your imagination.Let it dry. Apply glossy spray on it to get a glossy effect.

For Leaves:

Take the green tape and cut it into two equal lengths. Apply glue on one and place the thin wire the place the another one on it. Press it with fingers. let it dry. Take the scissors and cut the edges cursively. Now give a bend at the middle of it so that it look like a grass.

Pot Painting-Method 7




Materials required :
»     Pot
»     Black enamel oil paint
»     M-seal
»     Paintbrush
»     Gold powder
»     Feviocl

Method :

   1. First using m-seal prepare flowers and leaves keep it aside

   2. Stick the flowers and leaves using fevcol to the pot.

   3. The pot with flowers and leaves, now has to be painted with with black enamel oil paint.

   4. Once the pot painted, is semi dry, gold powder Is primarily blown on the flowers, the powder sticks to the flowers which gives a antique effect.try it out its excellent .Let it dry for one day
   5. Once it dryes apply a coat of varnish.

Fruits Glass Murals



Ceramic Basket
Materials :
Glass pieces
Solvent glass colours
Pinhead glass
3d colours
Colour stones
Fruit basket design

Method :
  1. Take a pinhead glass as required size, and trace the design as u wish.
  2. Outline the picture using gol3 3d colour.
  3. Take the glass pieces and breaks it to different sizes.
  4. Apply fevicol on the design and fill it with the glass pieces.
  5. Differentiate the size of the glass pieces for different shape fruits.
  6. Use colour stones for the grapes.
  7. Let it dry for 30 mnts and then colour it with glass colours.
  8. Gloss the picture with glue & gloss.
Frame the picture and hang it.

Pot Painting-Method 6




Materials Required :    
›     Flower vase
›     Fabric paint
›     M seal
›     Beads
›     Stones
›     3d florica colour
›     Brush.



Method:

Clean the flower vase as we selected, give fabric colour of your choice, give full coat cover the vase with paint, allow it to dry for few hrs, set apart, mix the M seal make dough, make it of any size flowers & leaves of your own, colour it with fabric paint, allow it to dry at least 24 hrs, then stick this flowers to vase using glue, dry it, you can fix stones or beads as u like, draw using 3d colour as a design of your own, allow it to dry.

Procedure :

Mix ceramic powder with fevicol and water untill a mixture with loose consistency is ready. Pat this around the pot giving it a matte finish. Allow it to dry. Then take white M-seal and make flowers or anything you wish.Colour the enbossed flowers with fevicryl colours and you can also use 3-D outliner.Then when the colours are dry apply a coat of clear varnish and let it dry.Your pot is ready.

  1. First past golden sand on pot with glue .
  2. Leave for dry then colour golden enamel leave for drying.

Pot Painting-Method 3




Method 3
Materials Required : 
  • Earthen pot
  • Brushes
  • Enamel paints
  • Fabric paint (Fevicryl)
  • Tooth brush
Procedure :
  1. At first, colour your earthen pot with your choice of enamel paint.
  2. Then, keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Later, take a fabric paint (contrast colour to the enamel paint) onto the bristles of the tooth brush.
  4. Now using your fingers, sprinkle the paint from the tooth brush onto your painted pot.
  5. After 18 minutes, blend the same fabric colour used onto the pot with a painting brush.
  6. Now keep it for drying under the sun. It will give a  cracked effect.

Your pot is now ready.
Tips : 
Use light shade paints as the base colours and darker colours for sprinkling.

Method 2
Materials Required : 
  • Ceramic powder
  • Earthen pot
  • Fevicol or glue
  • Fevicryl metallic colour
  • Brush
  • Bowl
Procedure :
  1. Take some ceramic powder and mix it with fevicol in a bowl until  you get a mixture with loose consistency (like a cake batter)
  2. Pat this around the pot giving it a matte finish.
  3. Allow it to dry.
  4. Finally paint it with fevicryl metalllic colour of your choice.
  5. Your pot is ready.
Your pot is ready. This is an easy way of decorating an earthen pot.

Pot Painting-Method 1




Method 1
Materials Required : 
  • Enamel Paints (Different Colours)
  • Brush
  • Water
  • Container
  • Earthen Pot
Procedure : 
  1. At first, colour your earthen pot with any enamel paint.
  2. Now take a container containing three-fourth quantity of water and spill different colours of enamel paints into it.
  3. The different colour paints float on the water.
  4. Now gently hold your painted pot at its edge and dip it into the water and twist it around, in the water and slowly take it out of the container.
  5. Keep the pot aside without disturbing it.
  6. The wet paints will slowly take its own design and shade.
  7. Wait till the pot dries.
Your pot painting is ready.
This art form can be done by any age group and each time you do it, you get a different design.
Tips : 
  • The more shades of paints you spill in the water, the more colourful and beautiful the pot will become. 
  • Do not disturb or shake the pot after it is taken out of the water.

Ceramic Painting




 

Materials Required:

  • A Plate
  • Camel texture white 
  • Camel Acrylic gloss medium
  • A design
  • Carbon paper
  • Pencil 
  • Oil Paints
  • Brushes
Procedure :
  1. Take the plate and clean it well. 
  2. Trace the design on to the plate using a carbon paper.
  3. Give the outline of the design using a cone filled with Camel texture white.
  4. Wait till the outline dries.
  5. Now paint the design with oil paints. Choose colours according to your taste.
  6. It takes 2-3 days to dry.
  7. After drying apply camel acrylic gloss medium onto the plate. It gives a glossy finish to the painting and also helps it to last long.
Your ceramic painting is ready.
To make a cone:
Take a  thick plastic cover or sheet, roll it in the shape of a cone and stick the edges. Fill the paste inside the cone and close it sticking the ends tightly. Make a small hole with a pin at the tip of the cone. The fine paste can be squeezed out in a thin strand. This can be used to give the out line of the design in the plate

Polymer Clay - How-To Make Simple Roses



Take a pea sized ball of clay between your thumb and index finger.

Flatten the clay very thin.

Roll the clay into a curl on your thumb.

It should look like this.

Now flatten another ball of clay and roll this one around the first.

Add more petals to your flower. (usually 5-9 total)

Excess clay accumulates at the base.

Simply slice off with tissue cutter or exacto knife.

Bake finished polymer clay roses according to instructions for your type of clay. These polymer clay roses are great for using as an embellishment on jewelry or craft projects including barrettes, picture frames and candle holders to name a few.

Gingerbread Sign


This Gingerbread Baked Here wood craft was Kindly Contributed by Designer: Lori Cagle.

Materials: Drill; Black Permanent Marker; Clear Acrylic Sealer; Graphite paper/Transfer paper; Waterbase sealer; Glue; Clean Cloth; Old scruffy toothbrush; sandpaper; 19 gauge wire; fabric strip.

Palette: Delta Ceramcoat Acrylics
Raw Sienna; Brown Iron Oxide; Black; Tomato Spice; Ivory; White; Black Cherry.
Brushes: #12 Flat - Shading; #5 Round - Basecoating; #1 Round - Liner.
Preparation:
Sand Wood pieces and wipe with a clean cloth.  Seal wood with Waterbase Sealer and let dry.  Transfer pattern, except lettering.  Drill holes where indicated.
  PATTERN



Instructions: Gingerbread Boy Ornament:
Base gingerbread boy with Raw Sienna, shade with Brown Iron Oxide.  Icing is Ivory. Eyes & mouth are Black.  Spatter with Black & with White.
Sign: Base the inner area with Ivory. Base the outer area with Tomato Spice.  Shade outer area with Black Cherry.  Base the hearts with Tomato Spice.
Finishing: Glue hands onto sign.  Let dry. Spray with Clear Acrylic Sealer and let dry.  Apply linework and lettering with a Black Permanent Marker. Attach wire and fabric bow.
