crochet patterns - Shell Curtain Pull


Materials: This design is worked in shell stitch, using size 30 Crochet thread and number 10 steel crochet hook. A bone ring is required.
Pattern: Make 48 sc over ring, join with sl st to first sc.

Row 1: Ch 4, in same place as sl st was made, make tr, ch 1 and 2 tr (beginning shell made), ch 3, sk next 3 sc, (3 tr in next sc) 3 times, ch 3, sk next 3 sc, in next sc make 2tr, ch 1 and 2 tr (shell made), ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sl st in first 2 tr and in next sp, ch 4 and complete a starting shell in same sp (starting shell over shell made), ch 3, (dc in next tr, ch 1) 8 times, dc in next dc, ch 3, shell in next shell sp (shell over shell made), ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Starting shell over shell, ch 3, (3 dc in next ch 1 sp-dc group made) 8 times, ch 3, shell over shell, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Shell over shell, ch 3, sc between next two 3 dc groups, (ch 5, sc between previous dc group and next dc group) 6 times, ch 3, shell over shell, ch 1, turn.
Row 5: Shell over shell, ch 3, (sc in next ch 5 lp, 5 dc in next sc-dc shell made) 5 times, sc in next lp, ch 3, shell over shell, ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Shell over shell, ch 3, sc in center of next dc shell, (ch 5, sc in center of next shell) 4 times, ch 3, shell over shell, ch 1, turn.
Row 7: Work as for 5th row, having three 5 dc shells (instead of 5 shells).
Row 8: Work as for 6th row, repeating directions in parenthesis twice (instead of 4 times).
Row 9: Work as for 5th row, having one 5 dc shell.
Row 10: Shell over shell, ch 3, sc in center of next shell, ch 3, shell over shell, ch 4, turn.
Row 11: Holding back on hook the last lp of each tr, sk first 2 tr, (tr in next 2 tr) twice, thread over and draw through all lps on hook, ch 4, sl st in top of turning ch. Fasten off.
Cord—With double strand, make a ch 12 inches long, sl st in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Fasten off. Sew cord to ring.
