Calico Cat

What you need: Plaster of Paris cat figure (you  may use other types of figures too); patchwork squares; gingham and calico scraps 2" x 2"; little felt scraps for features; scissors; felt for covering bottom of figure (optional).

What to do:
1: Cut enough 2" x 2" patchwork squares from gingham & calico material to cover figure. Note: You may choose to alter the size of patchwork squares depending on size and type of project being done.
2. Apply squares to figure using Super Tacky craft glue. Evenly space colors and types of fabric used, overlapping the ends.
3. It is not necessary to cover bottom of figure with squares, however, you may want to glue on a piece of felt to protect and add to general appearance.
4. For eyes, nose and other facial features, cut form felt and glue onto figure in appropriate places.
