Picture Bag measures 8”x9”

Note: This is a clever pattern because it only takes about 2 hours…great for a rainy day!! So sit down and enjoy!

Repeat Row 1 for 13 more rows. Then Repeat Row 2 once, (This Row 2 is going to be the top of the Bag)
Make identical piece

Straps
With 2 strands held together, ch 67. Fasten off. Make two of these.

Finishing
Sew the squares that you have made together at the sides, and the bottom. Then, tie to 2 straps together. (this next part is where it gets tricky) with knot in the center at the top of bag, weave ends of the strap in and out of the top of the bag (in side to side motion) until 2 ends meat at the opposite side, parallel to the knot. Take two ends and tie one end into left corner, and the other into the right corner..and voila! A new drawstring back pack!
