Can this dashing, handsome cutie be up to magic tricks? Well, there IS a gleam in his eye! This is a terrific, quick-to-stitch little project for March whether you're new to stitching with metallics or are a 'seasoned' stitcher. It's always good to get back to basics, so we've compiled our top tips for stitching with metallic threads.
Materials needed:
  • Kreinik Very Fine (#4) Braid™ in 085 Peacock, 210 Gold Dust 5982 Forest Green, 009HL Emerald Hi Lustre
  • Cotton embroidery floss as listed below
  • 16-count Aida in pale green. ALTERNATE FABRIC: 28-count Jobelan in Waterlily if you want to stitch this design over two threads
  • #24 Tapestry needle
