Crochet Patterns - Charlee's Heart


This cute and easy crochet pattern was kindly contributed by designer Tonya Reger. For questions regarding this pattern, please email Tonya.
I wrote this pattern because I couldn't find one like it anywhere. I wanted one to put on purses or make fridgies out of or even make 2 of and stuff for my daughter!


I used worsted weight acrylic yarn and a size F hook.

Row 1: chain 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1 turn (3 st)
Row 2: 2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn (5 sts)
Row 3: 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn (7 sts)
Row 4: 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn (9 sts)
Row 5: 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn(11 sts)
Row 6: 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1 turn (13 sts)
Row 7: sc across ch 1 turn
Row 8: hdc in 6 sc, sl st in next sc, hdc in last 6 sc, ch 1 turn
Row 9: hdc in 5 sc, sl st in next 3 hdcc, hdc in last 5, ch 1 turn
Row 10: hdc in 4 sc, sl st in next 5 hdc, hdc in last 4, ch 1 turn
Row 11: repeat row 10

sc evenly down side to 'point of heart' 3 sc in point, sc evenly up the side and over the top to middle of top of heart  sl st in middle, sc evenly to first sc, sl st in first sc, finish off

To make a fridgie put a magnet on the back
