Assembly:
Cut two small pieces of pink felt the shape of the ears, but a little smaller. Glue to one side of the ear. Sew ears in place, bending slightly.
Glue eyes to face. Cut a small triangle for the nose and a small tongue shape out of the pink felt. Glue tongue and nose as shown in picture. Sew 2 puff balls in place for cheeks, using picture as placement.
For whiskers. Using embroidery thread, and starting at center of cheeks, make four of five straight stitches radiating out and anchoring at the center. Cut outside ends free.
Sew legs onto body, using picture as placement.
Trim and tuck all loose ends.
Place over teapot so that the spout sticks the slit left in body and makes the “tail.”
