Have you seen the Kreinik Miniature Quilt Collection designs, featuring quilt-like cross-stitch patterns such as this cute Halloween Cats design? The Tokens & Trifles? sewing card makes the design look like a miniature quilt, but the cross stitching makes it much faster and easier than sewing. Enjoy this quickie pattern, and look for similar designs in the Miniature Quilt Collection kits.
Materials Needed:

• rectangle Tokens & Trifles
• 20-count perforated paper sewing card with #28 Tapestry needle
• Kreinik Silk Mori (2.5m each): 7086 Dark Straw, 8073 Lt Charcoal, 3062 Vy Lt Pumpkin, 8050 Black, 7134 Md. Bark, 7135 Md Dark Mocha, 2063 Lt Pumpkin
• sharp embroidery scissors

Instructions:
Use a #28 needle when working with Tokens and Trifles? sewing cards. Cross stitch using one strand of thread, following the color key. This design is stitched over one square on the sewing card so each square on the chart equals one square on the card.
Finishing:
When cross stitching is complete, stitch the card to the plain backer (provided in the tokens packaging) using one strand of black through the holes in the decorative border.
